2009 Young People’s Agenda

2009 Young People’s Agenda

London CITIZENS will soon be holding its annual Young People’s Assembly at which it is hoped around 1,500 young people from ages 5 to 25 will gather to agree on and put forward London CITIZENS’ Young People’s Agenda for the year to come.
It will be the biggest event of its kind in London and therefore a great opportunity for young people to realise how important and crucial their role is in the life of the capital. Because it will be such an amazing gathering of young people, major political figures (notably from the Department for Children, Schools, and Families and the London Mayor’s office) have already committed to attend the event and listen to our young citizens’ concerns, but also agree on collaborative strategies to tackle issues that need to be addressed.

Young Delegates’ Assembly on Friday 6th March 2009 – Friends House, Euston (10.45am to 3.00pm)

Once the Listening Campaigns have finished, a Young Delegates’ Assembly will take place. 10 members from each institution will attend this delegates’ assembly on behalf of their schools and will discuss, and vote on, the top London-wide priorities.
